At literally a fraction of the price, we have found a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon that borders the Screaming Eagle property, literally a sand wedge away. The wine is the 2005 Goldschmidt Vineyard's Game Ranch which is an exclusive three acre gravely vineyard in the Oakville district of Napa Valley.This small vineyard produces low yields with dense fruit. Flavors of black cherry, intense anise, chocolate, currant, sage and mocha flavors explode on your palate. Smooth but firm tannins on the finish clearly display the wine's quality. Delicious!
