Domaine du Tunnel

Stephane Robert

Saint-Joseph, Rhone

France

[375 cases made]

Varietals:

100% Syrah

Tasting Notes:

"This is an impressive wine from one of the up-and-coming stars of the Northern Rhone." (Robert Parker) This Rhone red is concentrated, yet elegant. Spicy and seductive, yet polished, refined and smooth. Dark fig, game, tobacco and olive paste notes along with dark berry fruit explode from the glass of this fantastic Syrah. Mild tannins compliment this enjoyable, everyday drinker that can easily be put down for five years, but has succulent fruit allowing for a wide variety of pairings: lamb, cheese, tuna and salmon steaks, grilled food of any kind, etc., etc. Enjoy!
