FINCA SANDOVAL Salia Manchuela, Spain Varietal(s): Grenache, Syrah
Tasting Notes:
A great value from Manchuela, Spain. This delicious blend of Syrah and Grenache displays musky cherry and dark berry aromas along with cola, cracked pepper and tobacco. A fantastic chewy texture with velvety tannins and a long finish reveals a bit of spice and lasting finish.

Finca Sandoval, Salia A Fantastic Spanish Grenache, Syrah Blend!
— LIMITED QUANTITIES —
($18.75 per bottle / $191.25 per case) Last week I left the area for a quick getaway and some much needed warm weather. I sent a mixed case of wine to a friend's house where we barbecued my last night there. The guests ranged from wine aficionados to casual enthusiasts. The overwhelming favorite that evening was the 2007 Finca Sandoval Salia.
No one put the wine down and everyone inquired about its varietal and origin. I too was amazed at its appeal. Maybe it was the ocean a block away, a deck full of old friends, the perfect breeze and 75 degree weather which swayed my opinion. So just to be sure, I opened another bottle when I got back home; as I expected, the same delicious wine emerged!

Salia is a hearty red and a treat for the colder months. If you happen to live in the warmer climates, it is a perfect wine to enjoy with grilled cuisine. Finca Sandoval's Salia is a true masterpiece priced below $20 dollars. It's original Syrah clippings come from the highly acclaimed Chateau de Beaucastel in Rhone. Enjoy now and over the next five years - especially by the beach if you have the opportunity. Order Here.
