I sent a mixed case of wine to a friend's house where we barbecued my last night there. The guests ranged from wine aficionados to casual enthusiasts.     Salia is a great value from Manchuela, Spain. This delicious blend of Syrah and Grenache displays musky cherry and dark berry aromas along with cola, cracked pepper and tobacco. A fantastic chewy texture with velvety tannins and a long finish reveals a bit of spice and lasting finish.
    Salia is a hearty red and a treat for the colder months. If you happen to live in the warmer climates, it is a perfect wine to enjoy with grilled cuisine.
