Barolo meets Amarone in this unbelievable combination. Deep red in color, with an intensely deep nose of clove, coffee, cocoa and roasted hazelnut. The palate is warm and vigorous with cinnamon, wet earth, smoke and ripe plum. Aldo Rainoldi makes this wine only in favorable vintages from a selection of Nebbiolo grapes grown in steeply terraced vineyards so steep the grapes must be harvested by hand.
