Ciacci Piccolomini's Brunello is one of Italy's best values. The wine shows black cherry and light spice, with vanilla hints, which follows through to a full body with fresh, clean fruit and a silky finish. Balanced and pretty, with a caressing texture, the wine is warm, quite soft and balanced on the palate. Pleasant sour black cherry notes are tied with a delicate hint of dark chocolate. Warm, quite soft and balanced on the palate. Pair with roasted and stewed meat, game and mature cheese.
