THE REVIEW

If last week's 2010 Gaja Brunello was a work of art, then this week's 2010 Valdicava Brunello is a masterpiece. It's rare to get another shot at history, but sometimes lightning strikes twice.
Highly collectible, Valdicava is one of the most prized wines of Montalcino and the world. It is a blue-chip Brunello....don't miss this offering!
The last time we saw a vintage like this was the historic 1997 Tuscan vintage. Those wines are long gone but still talked about today. We will be doing the same with the 2010 vintage as it is arguably better.
So convinced about this wine's stunning qualities, we are offering Valdicava in the following three sizes:

      2010 Valdicava Brunello 750ml
      2010 Valdicava Brunello 1.5L (Magnum)
      2010 Valdicava Brunello 3L (Jeroboam)

There may be excellent Tuscan vintages in the future, but it will be a challenge to top the near perfection of this Valdicava: "Absolutely stunning aromas of nectarine, orange peel, sweet black cherry, plums and flowers. Licorice and mushroom. It's full body, with layers of ultra-fine tannins and hints of tangy acidity. Such beautiful length and beauty to this wine. It's powerful and structured yet shows a gorgeous finesse and length. Truly wondrous. So long and refined. The texture is phenomenal." James Suckling
While supplies last, this is an extremely limited Valdicava offering. Please note, the $119.95 per bottle price will go to $132.95 per bottle in 48 hours. Read More »
