All of the aforementioned "right bank" Bordeaux regions produce some of the finest wines in the world. We are pleased that the pricing in Fronsac, however, has not experienced the astronomical price increases of the other regions. In our opinion, it's just a matter of time. Until then, you will be hard-pressed to find better Bordeaux value than Fronsac, and in particular Chateau La Vieille Cure.
What we love about this Bordeaux - aside from its room filling bouquet and stunning balance - is that it has a silky finish. That has been the La Vieille Cure hallmark throughout the years. An added bonus of the wine is the wonderful acidity and approachable structure that will allow it to be enjoyed now and over the next twenty years.
