"Rich and expressive, with cherry, strawberry and earth flavors and plenty of flesh to cover the solid structure. Spice and tobacco notes add depth as this plays out on the long finish."
It's wine's like Gaja that make people passionate for Italian reds. Gaja's 2013 Brunello di Montalcino is brilliant. Dark berry fruit, aromas of orange peel, cedar, truffles and spice. Like previous Gaja Brunellos, the wine is extremely polished with compact, velvety tannins. Approachable yet ageworthy, this Gaja is fantastic. We don't get much this beautiful Brunello. If Gaja is not part of your cellar, it should be. Enjoy!
