    High in the skies of Montalcino soar rare Italian raptors. These birds of prey scour the Tuscan landscape protecting the sacred Brunello vines of Uccelliera.
    These are not ordinary vines, they are the same Brunello di Montalcino vines that in years past have produced several Wine Spectator Top 100 wines and earned multiple high-scoring Brunello vintages.
    The current release of the 2013 Rapace Super Tuscan blend is our fourth feature of this exclusive and limited Super Tuscan. The quality and consistency of these Brunello-based wines are unmatched - especially at this price point.
    Whereas many Super Tuscan producers use younger vines in their blends, Uccelliera uses its select, old vine Brunello grapes in this limited masterpiece, which successfully captures the essence of Montalcino!
