THE REVIEW

The tiny region of Soria sits atop the highest elevation of Ribera del Duero, Spain. There, the sandy soils and cool climate are home to this 92+ point Spanish stunner "with a wild side to it..." The Wine Advocate
Rare for this region and at 1,000 feet, the 120 year old Tempranillo vines give Antidoto its herbal, mineral driven and silky character.
Antidoto was born several years ago as an answer to the trend of overly extracted reds coming out of Spain. Since then, the wine has received multiple 91 point scores from Stephen Tanzer and The Wine Advocate and is a remarkably delicious terroir driven red that balances grace and elegance while still retaining its full bodied profile.
From an exceptional vintage, the wine boasts dark cherry, red currant, and Asian spices. With a silky texture and great depth, it has a long finish of anise and raspberry. This is extremely graceful for a wine from Ribera del Duero.
Enjoy now and over the next five years. Read More »
