Bursting with flavor!
This Chardonnay has put a smile on the face of anyone who has tasted it.
At the base of the Dolomites lies the Alto Adige region, home to some of the finest Italian whites. It has been argued that this region produces the best whites in Italy. "Having recently blind-tasted the white wines of Cantina Terlano...I have no doubt that this is the case." James Suckling
Enticing fruit of yellow plum, poached pear, white peach with hints of orange peel and honey blossom. Subtle notes of orange citrus and lightly toasted almonds. Vibrant and zesty, this elegant Chardonnay is just plain yummy!
At 1,000 feet above sea level, the high elevation and volcanic soil imparts vibrancy to the wine. An excellent companion to alpine cheeses, antipasti and grilled vegetables, it is also an amazing companion to pasta with garlic, olive oil and peperoncino, as well as grilled bronzino.
This wine requires subtle ingredients and foods of finesse. It is the farthest thing from a buttery Chardonnay.
