"Clearly the best Antidoto so far." The Wine Advocate
A secluded village just above Soria (with a tiny population of 800) is the highest elevation in Ribera del Duero, Spain. There, the sandy soils and cool climate are home to this 93-point Spanish stunner.
Rare for this region and at 1,000 feet, the 120 year old Tempranillo vines give Antidoto its herbal, mineral driven and silky character.
Antidoto was born several years ago as an answer to the trend of overly extracted reds coming out of Spain. Since then, the wine has received multiple 91-93 point scores from Stephen Tanzer and The Wine Advocate and is a remarkably delicious terroir driven red that balances grace and elegance while still retaining its full bodied profile.
From an exceptional vintage, the wine boasts dark cherry, red currant, and Asian spices. With a silky texture and great depth, it has a long finish of anise and raspberry.
Every night, 800 people cry themselves to sleep because their best kept secret is no longer a secret.
Enjoy now and over the next five years.
