THE REVIEW

100% Pinot Noir
You can taste the winemaking pedigree in the 2017 Rosé de Diel, which is no surprise since winemaker, Caroline Diel, cut her teeth at Domaine de la Romanée Conti (D.R.C).
D.R.C. makes some of the finest Pinot Noir in the world. Carrying forward skills learned at D.R.C., she hand-crafts wildly expressive wines. Her Grand Cru Rieslings are exceptional, but her Pinot Noir rosé is simply stunning.
You are going to love the racy acidity and textured structure!
With aromas of young pink grapefruit, white peach and fresh wild berries, the palate is bone-dry and invigorating. Bracing freshness and vibrant citrus, the elegance of this Pinot Noir shows the craft of a highly talented winemaker.
We gravitated to this wine for its light, buoyant freshness and solid backbone of mouthwatering fruit.
From formal to al fresco dining, you can enjoy this outstanding rosé by itself or as an aperitif (though it is just as at home with seafood and light meat dishes).
