Few rosés evoke the feeling of afternoons by the sea more than Chateau Leoube's Secret de Leoube.

Nature meets agriculture in this picturesque setting. With 100 acres dedicated to grapevines and 40 to olive trees, the Leoube winery calls itself "organic artisans by the sea."

Indeed, they are!

Who is behind this gorgeous rosé? None other than Romaine Ott of the Domaine Ott family.

Delicious fruit delivers exotic aromas, including rosemary, white heather, sage, myrtle, mint, and marine lavender. Sexy aromas of raspberry and blood orange are lifted by a strong, chalky mineral drawn from the schist and clay soil. Finishes long, with resonating mineral and spring floral aromas.

We first featured this wine six years ago.  We thoroughly enjoyed the way the vibrant fruit showcased the maritime terroir.  

The same is true in this stunning 2020 Leoube Secret, a classic Provencal blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Cabernet Sauvignon.  

We tried featuring this wine last year but couldn't as very little was available.  

Back and better than ever - and while supplies last - the 2020 Leoube Secret is a perfect pairing for grilled salmon, Mediterranean cuisine, medium to hard cheeses, and crudités.
