We said "Wow" and so will you!
If you close your eyes, you will swear you were enjoying a crisp Viognier from the south of France (where Viognier thrives).
With bright acidity, crisp minerality, and soft, balanced fruit, Illahe produces one of the best Oregon whites we've tasted this season.
Stone fruit, and floral aromas of apricot, tangerine, honey blossom and wet stone. The palate is layered with fresh peach, Bosc pear and a touch of peppercorn. Mouth-watering acidity and a zesty, dry palate makes this wine a phenomenal food pairing wine.
Illahe (pronounced ēl-uh-hee) is a local Chinook word meaning "earth" or "soil." Working by hand, their goal is to produce organic wines that represent the pure varietal character without additives.
This is a delicious warm weather white wine!
