April showers may bring May flowers, but this Albarino will definitely bring smiles.
Few wines conjure up thoughts of spring like a great Albarino. The citrus and sea breeze notes make for a very refreshing and versatile white, especially in the warmer months.
The 2019 Pazo das Bruxas Albarino is a contender for one of the best we've tasted recently. For the money, it offers more depth and lift than you get in most Albarinos twice its price.
This is intense with exceptionally concentrated fruit, mouthwatering acidity and a fine texture to the palate. Then there is the mineral finish that goes on and on. Could not be more different from the everyday Albarinos." Decanter
What We Love About This Wine
Pazo das Bruxas is neither a weighty nor extracted Albarino. It is zesty and lively. Despite its soft frame, it offers tremendous vigor and vibrancy, which makes for a very elegant expression of the grape.
Exotic notes of stone fruit, lemon zest, citrus, and a field of white flowers will engulf your glass. A Stelvin closure is intentionally used to preserve the wine's freshness - of which there is a plethora.
From seafood to nearly any cuisine with spice, to sipping during sunsets, this Albarino is a great value.
