Perched on a hilltop crest immediately beneath the famous Grand Cru Vineyard of Chablis is Montee de Tonnerre.  Tonnerre is the most prestigious and sought-after of the Chablis Premier Crus.

In fact, Louis Michel's Premier Cru "Montee de Tonnerre" is often called a Baby Grand Cru.

Grand Cru quality, indeed!   

A vibrant core offers racy acidity and a finish that lingers effortlessly on the palate.  Classic notes of pear, green apple, wet stone, white flower, and seashells are the wine's signature.  The 2020 has an ethereal presence from beginning to end.  It is airy, expressive, and layered with a sophistication found only in Chablis Grand Crus.
