There is just enough wood present to warrant mentioning framing the ripe aromas of mostly white orchard fruit and acacia blossom. The palate has classic notes of citrus confit. Generously proportioned in a medium-bodied frame, the wine boasts verve on the notably saline, clean, and dry finish.  One glass will turn into two, and two will turn into.....

What We Love About Chateau Fuisse Tete de Cuvee

A gorgeous white Burgundy, Tete de Cuvee displays classic Burgundian minerality.  It is blend of the estate's various Chardonnay vineyards. A bit more flamboyant than a Chablis, it offers readers a tad more richness than a Chablis - and Chablis is one of our favorites.  Rather, it is more reminiscent of a Meursault or Chassagne Montrachet.  

It is known for its uncompromising quality.  Their single vineyards, Les Brules and Les Clos, recently received 1er Cru status, a rare event in Burgundy that hasn't occurred in over 75 years. 

This Chardonnay wants to be paired with food!  

Enjoy with slow-poached Halibut and baby red potatoes roasted to perfection. Or, late summer vegetables, corn, roasted squash, and seared french cut chicken over a crispy baguette.
