The nearly identical terroir boasts gravel, clay, and iron-rich deposits atop a limestone bedrock all of which help frame this gorgeous red.

There's a lot going on in this sassy Saint Emilion Grand Cru.  Tons of blackberry and currant aromas with a floral and fresh basil undertone.  Full-bodied, chewy, and layered with gorgeous fruits and intensity.  The vintage highlights really come through in the structure and finesse combination. 

With global demand for great value Bordeaux still insatiable, this sub $50 beauty rivals most at 2x the price.

Not much Clos de la Cure is imported; in fact, the wine is only represented in four markets in the United States.
