2015 Clos de La Cure, Saint-Emilion Grand Cru, Bordeaux

A Best Value Bordeaux Neighbors Cheval Blanc

There is a reason James Suckling characterized the 2015 Clos de la Cure Bordeaux as "exciting."

The 2015 Bordeaux vintage is one for the books - a perfect combination of ripe fruit and structure.  In 2015, Clos de la Cure is easily one of the best values from this glorious vintage.

And, a lesser known fact about Clos de la Cure:  the vineyards share the same ridge line as nearby Cheval Blanc!   Gravel, clay, and iron-rich deposits atop a limestone bedrock help frame this gorgeous red.

Lots of blackberry and currant aromas with a floral and fresh basil undertone. Full-bodied, chewy and layered with gorgeous fruits and intensity. Big wine. Exciting."  James Suckling

With the recent tariffs now reflected in most imported inventory, and a continued insatiable demand for great value Bordeaux, this sub $50 beauty rivals most at 2x the price.

Not much Clos de la Cure is imported; in fact, the wine is only represented in four markets in the United States.

First come, first served.

Enjoy!
