The mountain fruit of Kreuth Chardonnay has put a smile on more customers than we can count.
At the base of the Dolomites lies the Alto Adige region, home to some of the finest Italian whites. It has been argued that this region produces the best whites in Italy. "Having recently blind-tasted the white wines of Cantina Terlano... I have no doubt that this is the case." James Suckling
Just plain yummy!
You will love how this Chardonnay complements your food. Enticing white blossom, poached pear, white peach, hints of orange peel, and yellow grapefruit rind. Subtle notes of lemon and lightly toasted almond appear on a vibrant and zesty finish.
At 1,000 feet above sea level, the high elevation and rocky soil impart vibrancy to the wine. An excellent companion to alpine cheeses, antipasti and grilled vegetables, it is also an amazing companion to pasta with garlic and olive oil as well as grilled halibut or bronzino.
The farthest thing from a buttery Chardonnay, this white is just plain yummy!

"This is quite an opulent expression for a 2016 Alto Adige chardonnay and shows dried grapefruit, pomelo, apricots and blossom. The palate has the same kind of intensity but adds driven and precise acidity to the mix. Finishes long and elegant. Drink now."

The 2016 Alto Adige Terlano Chardonnay Kreuth is a wine that plays its best cards in terms of texture. This is a smooth, medium-bodied rendition with incredible smoothness and silkiness. It washes delicately over the palate. The wine imparts lasting flavors of apricot, peach, pine nut, sweet almond, pear and honey. The integration is seamless and impeccable. I'd easily assign this cool-vintage Chardonnay a 10-year drinking window.
