When isn't it a good time to drink luscious Brunello? Well, if you jumped on the iconic 2010's, you might benefit from cellaring them just a bit longer. But with the 2011's, there is no need to wait...simply pour and drink over the next five years!

We are setting this nationally low price of $49.95 so that all can enjoy it. You will not find a more competitive price on this small production Brunello that sells-out vintage after vintage.

Why are we so fond of Le Ragnaie's Brunello? It's not because the vineyards are the highest in all of Montalcino. It's not because much of the fruit comes from vineyards that touch Soldera (which retails for $600 per bottle). It isn't because it is 100% organic. We love this wine because 2011 was a warmer vintage producing ripe, rich fruit. This type of vintage is approachable in its youth without giving up the classic Brunello profile:
Stewed cherry, cigar box, young tobacco leaf and zephyrs of cedar caress the palate. With an abundance of plum and dried-fruit, there is a long, velvety texture here that lasts and lasts.
"For all of the deserved hype around the 2010 Brunellos, the 2011's are proving to be phenomenal and approachable in their youth. For me, great nights start with Prosecco and end with La Ragnaie Brunello." Anne Press, EWM Sommelier

Or, simply finish your evening with aged hard cheeses.
