Seven Barrels Traditionale is a 25 year-old, hand-crafted, barrel-aged balsamic vinegar from Modena, Italy. Loaded with rich flavors and texture, it can be added to nearly anything you can create in the kitchen.

This gastronomic gift has remarkable depth.  Sharp, sweet and savory notes simultaneously dance on the palate.  Luscious flavors of fig puree, dark cherry, caramelized wood, dark chocolate, and a port-like reduction lead way to a dense and velvety finish.

Salads are a given... but, here is a recipe that will knock your socks off:

  • Preheat your oven to 375
  • Place a baked brie wrapped in phyllo dough in the oven
  • Cook until the cheese begins to melt
  • Remove
  • Drizzle
  • Enjoy!
  • Repeat!

This is not sweetened red wine, which is generically called "balsamic vinegar" and found in most grocery stores.  Rather, this elixir is a barrel-aged reduction according to old-world traditions established over a 1,000 years ago in Italy. Crushed Trebbiano grapes are cooked down to a fraction of their original volume, then aged in small cask for 25 years.

One taste and you'll be hooked just like me!

(P.S., Before and after you use, store in a dark pantry cabinet for longevity.)
