Hold on to your reins! Pinhook has done it again! Only this time, the thoroughbred is "Bourbon N Rye," their inaugural Straight Rye Whiskey that is, not surprisingly, made with the bourbon-lover in mind.

You will marvel at this rye whiskey's approachability - round, smooth and balanced sweetness that belies the traditional rye flavor profiles. Hand-selected barrels and blending is what separates Pinhook from other rye whiskeys.

Comforting aromas of maple-covered pecans rise from the glass. Bright aromas of fresh apples and cinnamon stick give way to a deep and rich palate of brown sugar, vanilla bean, fresh-cracked pepper, raisins and dried apricot. There is a beautiful round balance between grain, fruit, spice and alcohol that showcases dark fruit, which is unusual for a rye in the 2-3 year range. To top it off, it has just the right amount of caramel and toffee notes from the wood without overwhelming the other complements.

If you think you are just a bourbon drinker, Pinhook's Bourbon N Rye will make a rye drinker out of you yet! Like all Pinhook whiskeys, this rye is incredibly smooth and tastes fantastic neat or with a cube of ice. Although you could, we wouldn't blend this incredibly approachable and finessed rye.
